Our story

Day One Mom started as a conversation
that needed to happen.

It grew into a circle.

The system wasn't built for us.
We built something for us.

Women in tech have always found each other — in Slack channels, after all-hands meetings, in parking lots after hard days. Day One Mom is that conversation, made into a place you can always come back to.

We exist for the women who are good at their jobs and exhausted by everything it costs. The ones navigating promotions, parenting, performance reviews, and the particular loneliness of being the only one in the room who gets it.

We're not a program. We're not a course. We're a circle. And there's room for you in it.

Founded by

Someone who's been in the room.

Our founder spent 18 years leading product teams at one of the world's largest tech companies — and founded an internal women's circle because she saw firsthand what the culture was costing people.

Day One Mom is the continuation of that work, outside the walls of any single company. She built this for the women she kept meeting who needed somewhere to land.

Our values

What we hold.

Your career struggles are not a personal failure.

The mental load is real, and it is unequal.

You don't have to choose between ambition and wholeness.

There is no fixing to be done here. Only understanding.
